Every cup of Carmela coffee begins on El Cuminate Farm, our family-run farm in the West Valley of Costa Rica, where we grow beans with integrity, respect for the land, and a commitment to sustainability.
We harvest with intention. We honor tradition.
We believe in doing things the right way, through sustainable practices, fair wages, and a deep connection to the people behind each bean and crafted bites.
Once harvested, the journey continues to Florida, where we roast in small batches to preserve freshness, flavor, and soul. This is where craft meets purpose, unlocking every bean's complexity, one roast at a time.

She embodies the strength, warmth, and heart of the women who inspire us, mothers, mentors, farmers, makers, and everyday heroes who turn the ordinary into joy.

We named our café Carmela because we believe coffee should feel just like that.
